Meet the EM4 Electric Maze, a premium, state-of-the-art activity designed to develop crucial leadership, team development, and change management skills.

Perfect for groups of 5 to 30 participants, the EM4 Electric Maze consists of a 48-square grid that connects seamlessly to a dedicated smartphone app. As a facilitator, you easily program a hidden safe path through the maze using the app. The team's objective is simple but demanding: navigate everyone across the grid within a strict time limit without triggering the alarm.

The catch?

They can either talk and discuss their strategy, or they can walk the maze in silence—but they cannot do both at the same time. When someone steps on an active square, the alarm sounds, the control unit flashes, and the participant must accurately retrace their exact path back to the start.

This dynamic creates a highly engaging environment that forces teams to balance trial-and-error experimentation with structured planning. It rapidly highlights their communication dynamics, decision-making processes, and leadership emergence. The Electric Maze® has been one of the most widely-used Leadership Development activities in the world since it's orignal creation more 30 years ago by Interel Inc. in San Francisco.

The EM3 version of the Electric Maze® was withdrawn from sale in May 2023 (then owned by RSVP Design) due to problems with availability of critical materials and supplier price increases.

The new EM4 design process started in 2022, and was completed following the final phase of live customer testing in Q3 2025.

This product is only assembled in the UK so there will be an additional tariff/import duty to be paid on import to the USA (currently 10%). The prices quoted for sale and shipping costs is on a DDU (delivery Duty Unpaid) basis, but contact us if you wish to prepay the Import Tariff to avoid managing the Import process and for faster delivery. We now have stock available from the UK manufacturing site without pre-order.
