Do you know the similarities and differences between the Colourblind® and Colourblind® Plus activities?
Many customers ask us about how and when they might use either of these products and how they might differ!
Listen to Graham Cook on this live Webinar recording and he will take you through each activity and will provide insights into their design and application over the last 25 years!
Both experiential learning games are used to simulate modern day communication when a shared visual reference is not always available e.g. communicating via text / email / telephone, or even face-to-face, and using active listening and questioning skills to help build mutual understanding.
The original Colourblind® activity relies on participants being blindfolded and asked to describe abstract shapes in their hand to figure out, as a team, which two pieces from a complete set of pieces have been removed. This requires active listening and questioning skills, as well as problem solving and team leadership in order to reach a consensus.
The Colourblind® Plus activity works in a similar fashion, but participants can be set up in pairs (sitting back-to-back), then blindfolded in small groups or one large group so they cannot see each other’s shapes, in increasingly difficult challenges.
